Indian & Buffalo

An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter: “Want coffee.” The waiter says, “Sure, Chief. Coming right up.” He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee. The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo wi...

A "little" DIY project

With all the No Burn days here in central CA, and really don't want to deal with a wood fireplace anymore…out it goes, and replaced with a gas stove, many obstacles found in a house built in 1939, but got er done! ALL work done by us, final signed off in November, with the lack of crabbing due to de...

Some where down the line a PO did the scratch mark, with a remote filter 14 quarts brings it just to that mark.
I'll do 13 quarts in the future.

My port engine has a seeping seal...oil is cheap! I put in the drain tube at the pan oil plug, that way I can drain ALL the "oil"! Thought of a similar task, to replace with 120's I did make an oil tube with a long wire so I don't have to wiggle into that tiny port side to check oil level....

Make a plaque/board with the HIN on it,
place in an easy to read location,
that satisfied the CG on my inspection.

1911 Colt .45

A guy walked into a crowded bar, waving his 1911 Colt pistol and yelled, "I have a .45 Colt with an eight shot clip and I want to know who's been screwing my wife?"

A voice from the back of the room called out...
"You'll need more ammo!”

My understanding of all the dripless seals on boats I've had, is they are just that...dripless.

Cap rail refinish

This is sure going to be a looooong project! I can clean up between stantions at about 45mins each. As you can see, the old finish...what ever it was, had been baked on in the San Diego sun for umpteen years, pealing off with the heat gun and putty blade (corners rounded off not to gouge). My questi...
