Re: Started cutting out fuel tanks.

Hey Steve Not sure if you know this but American tank in Ca. has built so many replacement tanks that they already have them templated. Mine were replaced by the PO and are stacked on top of each other.

Water temp sending unit

Hi All I broke the tab off my SW temp sender that screws into the expansion tank. Brian at AD said the new ones will not read the same as the old ones so does anybody have one for sale?

New Batteries

Hi All It looks like I need to replace the batteries in my 77, 36 classic. I have 4, 6volt interstate batteries that serve both starting and house. I would like to replace with something similar and would love some opinions on brands and what to look for.

Re: Oil in Fuel

I had the same issue with my leak off pipe and will be replacing it. The existing pipe did not have the washers and Brian at AD told me NOT to put them on if I didn't have them in the first place. He said the existing bolts will not be long enough, I asked him if I could buy longer bolts and he said...

Batteries

Hi All I have 4 6V golf cart batteries in my boat. About a month and a half ago I filled all with distilled water because they were low. This morning I checked and they were low again. I turn the DC off when I'm not at the boat other than the bilge pumps that never get used, safety precaution. I do ...

Did I fry my alternator

Hi All I noticed that my alternator gauge's read 0 while running. Most of the time I have the boat on shore power with the charger on and have run the engines at the dock while still attached to shore power. Would that have damaged the alternators? Can I test the alternators, have them repaired or s...
