3208 themostats

I changed the themostats on my 3208NA with out taking the HE off. It requires a bit of effort because the space between the block and the HE is very small. Left front up high just above the water pump. There are two (2) themostats and be sure you have new gaskets.

GB Sedan

I own of the Ausi built sedans. The serial number is 740. It was built in Dec 1985. There were 6 built in 1984-86 with the GB serial numbers. I have seen 4 of the 6 at various time in the PS area. All the others built by Reveria had Ausi serial numbers. When I was down in Sidney in 94 I went for rid...

I took out the manual pump and replaced it with a 12VDC from Harbor Freight. Cost under 25 bucks. I put a 2 way switch on the DC panel one way is momentary and must be held the other way is constant on. The new line run inside the old manual tubing. Works great for the final little bit of bilge wate...

You might consider a boat exchange. We did it with a like boat in New Zealand and ended up with life long friends.

Yes the compressor is Poseidon made in Austria. Can't tell you the model number until I return home in April. Served me very well. On one repair in 10 years. I used it at home when not out in the boat. Its very portable.

Dive Compressor

The Colt45 has a portable compressor that I use on long outings. I installed a 25 amp 115v AC outlet on the back deck just under the railing and ran seperate wiring to a 30 amp breaker on the main ac panel. It wired so that the generator or shore power can only power it. The 5KW gen is too small to ...

You might call Dan Forest of Aqua Marine at 800 376-3091. He builds a modular unit that alows the owner to place the componets in separate locations. I have one of his units and it works very well.

This whole thing seem strang to me. I did a boat swap with a new Zealand couple that have both Canadian and New Zealand passports. They use my boat twice going in and out of canada and had no problem. All they had was a notarized letter from me the owner authorization them to travel from Olympia, Wa...

I had the same problem a while back on the S&S Colt45. It turned out that 2 teeth on the raw water impeller had broken off and just not enough water was going thru. I would check and replace the impeller while your at it.

I have broken mine about three different times. A local glass company replaces each section for about $45.00 ea. The original color was purple but I like the smoked bronze better.
