Re: Have I sinned????

This may be obvious, and even unhelpful, but, as I have encountered this response, the answer is that you must be logged in to review the complete responses from other members.

Re: 50 amp adapter

Thanks for the suggestion.
Shore connection is the male end and the boat connection is the female end.

Re: 50 amp adapter

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually have one of the connectors already but have had difficulty finding sufficiently heavy four conductor wire.

50 amp adapter

Does anyone happen to have a 125 volt 50 amp to 125/250 volt 50 amp adapter that they are presently not using and would be willing to part with either for the winter season or on a permanent basis? I do realize that they are available from Fisheries, but are quite pricey and are used in very few mar...

Engine warning light panel replacement

Has anyone replaced all of the original indicator panel lights with newer style bulbs or perhaps replaced the entire panel in one or both locations in a 1990's vintage Grand Banks? If so, do you still have either the original lenses or the complete original panel carefully preserved in a locker some...

Re: Berth main soloon

I have considered the idea, but couldn't quite come up with a design that would work. Good luck!

Re: Amber indicator lenses

My thanks to StevenD for the picture. Your replacement light looks great. And, my thanks to Oldersalt for the exact details from Amazon. I'll follow up and look into both of these alternatives. Meanwhile, another thought has occurred to me, since so many of you have been kind enough to check into my...

Re: Amber indicator lenses

Thank you for responding.
Do you happen to have a record of the LED lights that you were able to find on Amazon?

Amber indicator lenses

Has anyone ever had to replace the amber engine warning/bilge pump lenses that were standard on 1990 vintage Grand Banks yachts (of all sizes, I believe). If so I would really like to know where you were able to obtain them as I have been unsuccessful and two of mine have cracked, probably due to su...

Outlet wiring on late 1980 and early 1990 Grand Banks models

Does anyone happen to have saved a few feet of the wiring (brown, blue and green) typically used on 46's and probably other models in the late 1980's and early 1990's? The wire in question is probably 12 gauge and rather hard to work with so most people simply discard it if they are modifying and/or...

I would be very interested in more information on that stacked system, as its exactly the configuration I'm contemplating installing on my GB 46, so if you don't mind searching, Mr. samcoltwilson, please give it a try.

I've just had an unfortunate experience in a marine yard and I need a little help.
When I picked up the boat, I quickly realized that most of the starboard engine gauges were inoperative. It seems likely that during some testing they were doing they managed to send a spike through the system. <BR...

Bob, thanks for the clarification,
The Groco Paragon senior is more than twice the cost of a Jabsco 36900 series pump. As it seems you have both installed, can you comment on why the Paragon is that much more expensive and whether it's worth the additional money. I'm not really interested in havi...

I don't really have a reply to the original posting, but I do have two related questions.
1) For philip_gelber - If Groco have indeed finally solved their problems, are they now going to supply the improved pressure switches and/or check valves to all of us with these pumps installed so that we c...

I am considering installing an hydraulic davit on my GB46 to load and offload the inflatable. (1) Has anyone tried this, and (2) does anyone have any drawings or pictures available of a trawler in this size range that has carried out this modification successfully, and, if I may add, elegantly?
