A-frame placement info for lifting a Lehman in a 32

Am thinking that with an A-frame I should be able to lift it high enough to drop the pan to do the job. So need to know where to place the A-fra...

Just a tip on using Bristol, clean the cap and the opening of the catalyst bottle, threads and all, then store it in the fridge, and it will last a long time.

OK, now I sorta' know what your going to have to replace, and can tell you that it is a job...one thing you will find out is that the plywood is attached with ring nails (boat nails) into Yakal (sp.?) and that stuff is so hard that you need to drill it to re-nail it. Hope Bob chimes in, I'm sure he ...

I've done a lot of wood work on the aft deck area, but don't quite understand where your problem is...soooo, some pictures would really be helpful in getting you a good answer...and probably from somebody more knowledgeable than me :)

FWIW We have a 32 that is hull #32-160 and when we bought it, I contacted GB and they told me the keel was laid in September '69 and then finished and sold as a 1970.....but didn't have the date it was sold.

Since I have a 32 with no bow thruster, I have to agree with those that said that your 32 more than likely won't need one, after some practice. That said, if you decide on one, I'd really consider spending the extra $'s and put in a hydraulic thruster. Just one man's opinion.

I have used Bristol and been very happy with it, but we are not in sunny California, and in a covered slip....but still looks great after 6 years. The only problem with it is that it smells awful when going on
