Curious myself. The other links seem good to go with at least some representation..just no Florida GB'rs. Maybe is just me over here (Stuart/Jupiter) and you over there?? It's a small club but a club nonetheless??? :)

Well seeing as how it is just me and you who are interested I vote that a contract is good enough to join "the club". Why don't we call it an associate membership for now? However, given our membership level it still makes you Co-President. Sweet huh!!???!

Seriously, are there any GB groups down here? Would seem that if there were they would be centered here in GBO....

Our "New" 1977 GB 32 is currently in Sanford FL for the summer while we are in Maryland but we'll be returning in November to take her to south Florida for winter cruising. So we'll be in Florida until Spring 2018 if plans work out, then back to the Chesapeake and points north.

Anything come of this discussion about a Florida group?

Well, I'm waiting to be an owner before I can be in the group. We are in the process of buying a 36' Classic and haven't finished the deal yet. Hopefully it won't be too long for us!

Tomdove,

Well as you can see the GBFOA is growing by the...month. It consists of me, fishing fool (Co-President and Associate Member until he closes on the boat) and now you. You DO own a GB and it IS in Florida right? That makes you Treasurer. At this point there is not much to that job so don't be too concerned. :)

Extrapolating the growth rate of 200 percent every few days into a year, it looks like a perfect pyramid scheme. Multiply that by zero dues per person and we get...oh.

The Florida Owners Group is more commonly referred to as the Bernie Madoff Chapter of GBOA. All four of us.

We are a work in progress.

I'm I too late to join? Wow a few days earlier I could have been somebody important!

I have a 32 GB #531 in Jacksonville Beach Florida, but I live out of state.

Sounds good to me. Not a big raft up but who wants all those lines and fenders to deal with anyway? It's a cozy group for now.
