Can someone recommend a Woodie Grand Banks surveyor? I'm looking for hull and mechanical for a 32.

Thanks,
Randy

We've found that 2 of the best GB hull surveyors in the region are Matt Harris and Mike McGlenn, in large part because they have done so many GBs, they really know them. They are both located in Bellingham but Matt usually does not charge for travel to Seattle. Not sure about Tacoma. Between the two, they do virtually all our surveys.

For mechanical, we usually use Mike Rusk at Tri-County Diesel, also in Bellingham. Unfortunately, he does charge for travel so that would be a bit expensive for mid-south sound. I have also used Hatton Marine in Ballard. Though their mechanical work is very good, I have found that their surveys are not as thorough as Mike's.

Matt Harris: 360.647.6966
Mike McGlenn: 360.739.2619
Steve @ Hatton: 206.283.5501

We have used Mike McGlenn and he is indeed excellent. Very thorough, very knowledgeable.

I used and recommend Matt Harris, we bought the boat in Anacortes. I would at least ask if he travels to Tacoma. Be forewarned that his survey took about 9hrs on a 36. He is very thorough. Very good and knowledgeable surveyor, he knows wood Grand Banks.
