Around Vancouver Island

Starting in the middle of May we will head North from Olympia to circumnavigate Vancouver Island in a counterclockwise direction. Can we expect to see any other Grand Banks cruisers out on the west coast of the island this year?

I sure hope so. Depending on weather, seas, and schedules I am hoping to get to Barkley Sound for a few days.

Six GB's will be departing Bellingham on May 23rd and going up the west coast of Vancouver Island. I think it takes them about 2 weeks or so. This is the fleet of charters that Pacific Northwest Explorations takes to Alaska each summer. People charter different segments of the entire trip. They return in Mid August. A great group! Full Disclosure: Our boat is in The Northwest Explorations charter fleet but we are taking Change of Latitude out of the fleet for most of this summer to cruise. We can hardly wait!!!
