My daughter is having her wedding this afternoon, Saturday 5th July, on the beach just south of Ala Spit on the east side of Whidbey Island across from Hope Island.

On my chart it is labeled Ben Ure Spit which I have never noticed before as the sign on the beach says Ala Spit and the tide level station is labeled Ala Spit.

If any GB is passing this afternoon feel free to blow your horn as you pass.

Fair winds.

Congratulations to the bride! And to you and the Admiral—I know you two have been planning this for some time. Now it's time to go cruising!

Hi Don, good to hear everything went well. It was good to meet up with you in Anacortes ????? We had a foggy start the next morning but it cleared by lunch.

Look forward to meeting up again soon.

Regards to the new bride and groom.

Tom.

I finally received a few photos of the wedding at Ala Spit on July 5th.

I do not think the photo insert is working yet.

Fair winds.
